Gameplay

Players compete in CyberCraft races, which are distributed among several multiplayer modes. Up to eight pilots can compete in each race. When the pilots are ready to race through the skies, starts a countdown; when you hear "go", the race officially begins. During the race, the player's viewpoint is from behind or in front of his or her CyberCraft. The goal of the game is to finish a race ahead of other planes, who are controlled by other players, or complete a circuit in the fastest time.

Item boxes are scattered along the race track and give player-characters power-up items when their CyberCraft passes through them. Common power-ups include the missile, machine gun, mine, and repair. The type of weapon received from an item box is usually random, although it can sometimes be influenced by the player's current position in the race. For example, players who are lagging far behind may receive more powerful items, while the leader will only receive small defensive items. This gameplay mechanic is designed to give other players a realistic chance to catch up to the leading player.

Courses

The SkyRacers tracks are inspired by their lore. Paxton tracks are characterized by tall buildings, bright billboards, while Magyar Raiders tracks are desert-like and full of scrapyards. Okamoto Hydrocorps tracks are a mix of urbanism and nature. In Faraday Comission, we find many temples and monuments. The Mach Co. is a mix of the traditional and the modern. SFA is notable for its industries and the lava! Could there be any living human on Chronicler?
